The University tries to allot the centre as per the order of preference clicked by the applicant during online application. However, the final decision of allotment lies with the University.
City and address for the center of examination will be given on the Hall Ticket.
No request for change of center will be considered under any circumstances.
Candidates must bear all costs such as transportation, etc., to appear for the examination.
Timings of the exam are mentioned on the Hall Ticket and it is the responsibility of the candidate to reach the center on allotted date and time.

Candidates need to appear for the PIMS-AICET Entrance Exam 2018 to qualify.
Domicile and Age Eligibility
Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply. For OCIs, the nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport will be considered a proof of nationality.
Candidates should be of 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31st December 2018.
The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner mentioned below
Candidates must have passed qualifying examination i.e. H.Sc. (or equivalent examination) with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Candidates belonging to the general category must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) taken together H.Sc. (or equivalent examination).
Candidates belonging to the backward classes category must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) taken together H.Sc. (or equivalent examination).
Candidates who will appear or have appeared in the qualifying examination in March / April 2018 and whose results have not yet been declared can also apply for admission, if other eligibility criteria are satisfied.
Based on the result of PIMS-AICET MBBS Entrance - 2018, separate merit lists will be prepared for each category.

Indian Students: PIMS MBBS & BDS Under Graduate Course reserves 85% of its seats for Indian students based on the merit list.
Foreign Students: PIMS MBBS & BDS Under Graduate Course reserves 15% of its seats for Foreigh Nationals, Persons of Indian Origins and Non Resident Indians.
Note: There is no reservation for backward class (SC/ST/NT & OBC etc). The admission to MBBS / BDS Courses will be offered only on the basis ofPIMS - AICET - UG 2018 merit of candidates reported for counseling.
Hall Tickets for the Entrance Examination will be received from April 2018
The hall ticket will contain name and date of birth as typed by the candidate in the application, photo and signature image as uploaded by the candidate; Examination City allotted and roll number.
Change in category / status in the hall ticket will alone be considered for rectification.
PIMS-AICET will not be responsible for postal delay. If you have not received your hall ticket by the above mentioned dates, please notify the Competent Authority. Check you form status at http://www.pravara.com/ugadmission-formstatus.html
Request for rectification / change of any other details in the hall ticket details shall not be considered under any circumstances.
No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination unless he/she holds the Hall Ticket from the website of PIMS-AICET.
In case of loss of Hall Ticket, it shall be obligatory on the part of the candidate toobtain duplicate Hall Ticket from the centre in charge not later than two hours beforethe commencement of examination, on payment of ` 500/- and production of sufficient evidence to prove that he/she is the genuine/bonafide examinee (Receipt issued by the college authority and other document to prove his/her identity)

The PIMS-AICET MBBS ENTRACNE Exams breakup per subject is provided below. Reach the venue by 7.30 a.m. so as to locate your lab/room. Entry for examination is strictly prohibited after 9.30 a.m.

The paper will be for three (03) hours or 180 minutes duration.
The exam is conducted in English
It shall carry 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
There is NO negative marking.
Use HB Black pencil to darken the circles in the answer sheet.
Scratching, tick marking and multiple answers will be considered wrong answers and not awarded any marks.
Read each question carefully before choosing the correct answer.
Select the answer only if you are sure of the answer.
Carry extra pencils and sharpeners. Remember scratching or tick marking will result in no marks.
If you do want to erase an answer remember on his/her answer sheet, he/she must erase completely the existing pencil mark and then darken the appropriate circle with HB pencil. Remember not to leave any mark on the answer sheet or to cause a tear.
Candidates are advised to go through the Mock Test for various MBBS & BDS Entrance Examination – 2018.

Attempting Sample Papers for Practice
You will get only 180 minutes to solve a total of 200 questions. So, it is imperative that you practice all of them repeatedly to build up both speed and precision. Revision of all topics along with your paper solving abilities will definitely impact your chances of selection.
Attempt all previous year papers in allotted time. Solving papers will build up speed and accuracy.
Check your answers after you finish an exam. Don’t be lenient in your marking. Remember you need to score 50% in every topic to just qualify. And you need to score a very high percentage to get selected as per your category.

Paper Solutions
Once the PIMS-AICET MBBS Entrance Exam 2018 has been conducted, a detailed answer key will be provided. This will give you a chance to calculate your own eligibility while you await the final result. The University has no provision for re-evaluation of the answer sheet or verification of marks.

Once the results have been declared, candidates appearing for MBBS Entrance Exam 2018 will be shortlisted for counseling sessions. However, inclusion of a candidate’s name on the merit list does not entitle him/her to be called for counseling. Counseling sessions will be held at

Candidates short listed for counselling will be informed about the time and date of the counselling by letter sent under certificate of posting and the information will also be displayed on official website of PIMS University http : //www.pravara.com
Asking a candidate to report for counselling does not mean that he/she will be admittedto the course.
The actual admission will depend on the number of seats available when his/her turn comes in order of his/her PIMS - AICET - UG 2018 merit.
The physical presence of the candidate and his / her guardian for counselling is essential. If a candidate is unable to present himself/herself for counselling on account of unavoidable circumstances, he/ she may authorise any individual to represent him/her. The said representative must carry with him/ her, the authorisation letter given by thecandidate in prescribed format. The representative should bring original documents for verification and prescribed fees.
Candidates will have to report for counselling at their own cost.
The claim of eligible candidate will be forfeited and candidate will not be considered for subsequent rounds in case of following:
i. If the Candidate/ representative is absent at the time and date given to him /her.
ii. If the Candidate does not join allotted course.
iii. If the Candidate fails to pay the prescribed fees at the time of counselling.
Committee will be final and binding on the candidate
After verification has been completed, all eligible candidates must report for personal interview and to complete admission process which will commence at 2 .00 PM on the same day. If candidates fails to report at 2.00 PM on the same day, his/ her selection will be cancelled and his/ her claim for admission will be forfeited. The available seat will be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit.
The attendance of candidates present for Personal Interview will be recorded at 2.00 PM.
Once the attendance is recorded candidates should not leave the Hall/ Location for any reason unless they have completed personal Interview/ admission process.
During personal interview, the identity of the candidate will be verified form the photograph, fingerprints & signature of the candidate obtained during the entrance test.
In case the identity of a candidate does not match, this will be treated as an attempt of impersonation and the candidate will be disqualified from admission process and legal action will be initiated.
If a vacancy in the desired course exists and candidate is found eligible for admission to that course, Provisional Admission Letter will be given to the candidate with instructions to complete all other formalities with the Student Section, Legal Section and Account Section immediately on the same day.
If vacancy in the desired course does not exist, candidate will be wait-listed for that course the waiting list acknowledgement will be given to the candidate. If desired, candidate can also be admitted to course of his second preference if vacancy exists. However, this will not affect his status of his first choice for which he has been wait listed.
Candidates selected for admission will have to make full payment of fees failing which the admission offered to him/ her will be treated as cancelled and no claim for admission will be entertained and the same seat will be offered to the next candidate on merit list.
