Information is provided for the first year entrance exam for undergraduate program for DSRRAU PAT/PHT/PUT/BNYS Exam 2018. It is an all-India examination and will be held at eight cities across the country.

Exam Centers

The centers are in Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, New Delhi, Sri Ganganagar and Udaipur.

• The choice of three centers along with preferences should be clearly mentioned. The University tries to allot the centre as per the order of preference clicked by the applicant during online application. However, the final decision of allotment lies with the University.

• City and address for the center of examination will be given on the Hall Ticket.

• No request for change ofcenter will be considered under any circumstances.

• Candidates must bear all costs such as transportation, etc., to appear for the examination.

• Timings of the exam are mentioned on the Hall Ticket and it is the responsibility of the candidate to reach the center on allotted date and time.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to appear for the DSRRAU ENTRACNE Exam 2018 to qualify.
 

Domicile and Age Eligibility

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

• Candidates should be of 17 years of age or attain this age as on October 2018.

• A candidate belonging to Rajasthan shall be one who fulfills any one of the following four conditions.

(i) Must have studied for last three years of the qualifying examination continuously as a regular candidate in a recognized institution in Rajasthan.OR

(ii) Natural Father/Mother of the candidate has continuously resided in Rajasthan for a period of last 10 years and the candidate has studied for at least 5 years during this period in a recognized educational Institution in Rajasthan.OR

(iii) The Candidate is a Son/Daughter of serving or retired employee of (a) Govt. of Rajasthan including officer of All India Service borne on the State cadre of Rajasthan (b) Undertaking/Autonomous Body/Corporations/Improvement Trust/Municipal Bodies duly constituted by Govt. of Rajasthan by an act of Law or by Government of India in Rajasthan or (c) any of the University in Rajasthan or Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, provided that employee has put in at least three years of service before the year of the admission. OR

• She/he is a Bonafide Resident of Rajasthan.

• For admission in Unani colleges, the candidate must fulfill above conditions and must have passed Urdu as additional subject in secondary standard and / or sr. secondary standard.

• The Candidate is required to undergo medical examination before he is allowed to join a college after counseling, if the concerned college deems if necessary.
   

Academic Eligibility

The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner mentioned below

• Candidates must have passed senior high secondary (10+2) (or equivalent examination) from Board of Secondary Education or recognized equivalent board thereto with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. .

• Candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany and Zoology). For admission in Ayurved and Unani courses, he/she must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
   

Entrance Examination Eligibility

A common entrance test will be conducted for admission in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)/Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)/Kamil-E-Tibb-O-Jarahat (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery)(BUMS) & Bachelor of Yoga & Naturopathy Science (BNYS) i.e. PAT/PHT/PUT and BYNS in accordance with the ordinances of Dr S. R. Rajasthan Ayurved University Jodhpur.

Distribution of Seats

All the seats sanctioned by CCIM/CCH for a Government college and for a private college aided by Government of Rajasthan are known as state level seats. All the seats of National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur are National level seats. These shall be filled on the basis of all India merit.

• Admission to National Level seats will be as per Reservation Rules of Government of India.

• Admission for State level seats will be as per Reservation Rules of Government of Rajasthan

• After deducting the state level seats of private unaided colleges, the remaining seats are called Management seats. In case reserved seats are not filled, the unfilled seats shall be transferred to General category seats.

Hall Tickets

Hall Tickets for the Entrance Examination will contain name of candidate along with relevant details as well as the allotted city and roll number.  

• If you have not received your hall ticket before the exam, please notify the Registrar.

• Change in category / status in the hall ticket will alone be considered for rectification.

• No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination unless he/she holds the Hall Ticket from the website of DSRRAU.

Exam Pattern

The DSRRAU BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BNYS ENTRACNE Exams consists of objective type questions. Breakup per subject is provided below. Reach the venue early so as not be disbarred for reaching late.

• The paper will be for three (03) hours or 180 minutes duration.

• The exam is conducted in English

• It shall carry 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

• Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.

• For every incorrect answer, ½ marks shall be deducted.

• Use black or brown pen to darken the circles in the answer sheet.
