KIIT University Odisha conducts the KIIT All India Medical Entrance Examination – KIITEE Medical 2018 for the admissions into MBBS courses along with B.Sc/ BDS Nursing Courses. The candidate appearing the KIITEE MEDICAL 2018 must have completed the 10+2 from an institution as per the CBSE or an equivalent examination with a minimum score of 50% aggregate in Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects. The candidates also need to have cleared the English subject paper. For the SC/ST Candidates 40% aggregate marks in Biology, Chemistry and Physics all together.
Age Limit: The candidates appearing the Entrance test must be of at least 17 years and not more than 25 years as on 31st of December 2018. For the SC/ST Candidates the upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years.

The application form for the KIITEE MEDICAL 2018 will be available online only and the candidates have to apply by visiting the website: www.kiitee.ac.in and they can download the application form.
Process of filling the application:
After visiting the institute website the candidates are supposed to download/fill online the application form after reading the instructions carefully.
Submit the application and take the print out of the Registration Form mentioning the Application Number
Attach passport size photograph in the provided space and get the forms signed by the guardian/parent
Dispatch the form along with two passport size photographs and the 10th board certificate with mark sheet photocopy.
The print out of the KIITEE MEDICAL 2018 online Registration Form or the filled in downloaded application form are to be submitted in person or by registered post/speed post/courier to be reached at the institution address mentioned below on or before 31th March, 2018, 5.00 pm.

No application fee is required to be paid for the application form of KIITEE Medical 2018.
The Admit card/hall ticket for the KIITEE MEDICAL 2018 will be available on the website of the institution of April 10th, 2018. If in any case the admit card of a particular candidate is not available online, he/she is supposed to write to the admission department of April, 2018 and providing the postal details of dispatch (date and receipt of the dispatch) along with the photocopy of the Application Form, photocopy of the 10th board exam Mark sheet/certificate and one passport size photograph. The candidates are supposed to download the admit cards and have to present them on the day of the examination at the centers.
Syllabus
The syllabus for the KIITEE MEDICAL 2018 consists of the following subjects:
Physics: Measurement, Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Oscillations, Gravitation, Waves, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic Induction, Electrons and Photons,
Chemistry: Atomic structure, Equilibrium, elements, Solid state Chemistry, Redox reactions, Chemical bonding, Chemical thermodynamics, Hydrogen, Chemical kinetics, Electrochemistry, Hydrocarbons, carbon compounds, Organic compounds, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry, Bimolecular Compounds.
Biology: Living World, Genetics and Evolution, Reproduction, Growth and Movement in Plants, Reproduction and Development in Humans, Ecology and Environment, Structure and Function Animals, Biotechnology and its Applications, Biology and Human Welfare.
Exam Pattern
A total of 120 questions from 3 subjects (Physics Chemistry and Biology) are to be asked in the KIITEE MEDICAL 2018. Each subject carries 45 question each from Physics and Chemistry, and 90 questions from Biology. Each question carries four marks and with every wrong answer one negative mark is also deducted. The duration for the exam is set to 3 hours.

The entrance exams conducted by KIIT University, Bhubaneswar for the Medical courses are one of the reputed degree programmes of East India. Candidates appearing for the exam need to prepare thoroughly for the exam as there are always a tough competition among the Medical seats.

Counselling
As per the notification for the institution, 100 MBBS and 100 BDS seats are there in the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) which is a constituent of the KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. The candidates scoring marks above cutoffs will be sent intimation for the counseling process which is to be commenced from May 2018 and will be carried on till May 2018. Based on the merit list the selected candidates will be called for the counseling at the Bhubaneswar campus.

Two passport size photographs
Either of the parent or the guardian can attend the counseling on the behalf of the candidate with the documents such as the ID proof of the candidate, Authorization letter from the candidate, Certificate mentioning the name of the parents/guardian (10th Pass certificate/birth certificate). In such cases the admission will be provisional and the seat allotment letter will only be provided after the biometric verification of the candidate is being done.
