Uttarakhand CPMEE 2019Uttarakhand Common Pre-Medical Entrance Exam (UCPMEE) or Uttaranchal Pre-Medical Test (UPMT) is conducted by Association of Common Entrance Examination (ACEE) – an association of the private unaided medical, dental, ayurvedic and homeopathic colleges of the state. The exam screen students for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS courses in associated colleges.

CPMEE is conducted for admission to Management Quota seats in associate medical and dental colleges for all India candidates. The exam will be conducted on May, 2019.

* Candidates will need to download and print out the UCPMEE admit card 2019 and preserve it in the good condition until the admission process gets over.
 

UCPMEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear for the exam. Foreign nationals require at least 50% mars in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in an Intermediate Science exam or its equivalent to be allowed admission to ACEE member colleges.

Age Limit: Only those candidates who are at least 17 years old by December 31, 2019 are eligible to appear for the exam if they have the required qualification.
 

Educational Qualification

For MBBS, BDS & BAMS Courses: Interested students must have cleared English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 board exams and must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate in PCB. SC, ST and OBC students need 40% marks in aggregate in the three Science subjects.

For BHMS Course: Candidates must have cleared English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 board exams. Minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying exam have not been specified for this course. Candidates need to score at least 35% in the UCPMEE 2019 exam to be considered for admission to the BHMS courses.

The blind, deaf and dumb candidates are not allowed admission to these medical courses.
 

Uttarakhand PMT 2019 Exam Pattern

Uttarakhand Pre Medical Test has a single examination paper with 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on 10+ 2 syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from various boards.

UPMT 2019 will be a paper-based exam, where students mark answers on machine-gradable OMR sheet. The duration of the exam is 2 ½ hours. There will be only single correct response for each question and if a student marks more than one choice for a question, it will be deemed as incorrect answer.

Each question will be worth 1 mark. Hence, the total marks of the CPMEE 2019 question paper will be 200 marks. There is no negative marking in the exam.

UPCMEE question paper is available in English and Hindi and candidates can indicate their choice of language while filling up the application form.
 

UPMT 2019 Exam Result & Counselling Procedure

The result of Uttarakhand CPMEE 2019 is expected to be declared online by second week of June on the official website of ACEE. Candidates will not be informed about their medical entrance exam  result individually through post, phone call SMS or mail.

After the declaration of result, counselling schedule will posted on the ACEE website where seats will be allotted to students on the basis of their rank in the UPCMEE merit list 2019.


UPMT Merit List

In the merit list, if two or more candidates obtain same marks in the medical exam, following method is used to break the tie:

  • Candidates with higher marks in Biology will get a higher rank. If the tie is still not broken,

  • Candidates with higher marks in Chemistry will get a higher rank. If the tie is still not broken,

  • Candidates with higher marks in Physics will get a higher rank. If the tie is still not broken,

  • Candidates older in age will be given preference.


Counseling Process of UCPMEE 2019

There is no reservation in available medical seats and all seats will be filled by open competition. Candidates will need to be present in-person at the time of counselling and indicate their choice of course at college according to their CPMEE 2019 rank and seats available.

Once the seat allotment is done, candidates will not be able to change their course or college later.
 

UPMT 2019 Examination Centre

CPMEE 2019 exam will be held in 10 cities. Candidates can indicate their exam centre while filling up the application form but the test city once allotted will be considered final.

How to apply for CPMEE 2019 exam?

Candidates can either apply for Uttarakhand CPMEE Exam 2019 online or offline.
 

Online Application Process

The online application for the Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test 2019 is available on the official ACEE website. Candidates can change the details they fill up only till they pay the the UPMT application fee. Once the fee is paid, they will not be able to make any changes in the application form.

Application fee for the exam is Rs 2000 which will be paid through debit card, credit card or net banking facility.

Once you submit the online application form and pay the examination fee, a Confirmation Page will be generated which you have to print out and keep it in your records for future reference.

Offline Application Process

Students can buy the UCPMEE Information Brochure from:

  • ACEE member colleges directly by paying the exam of Rs 2000 in cash or

  • By post by making a demand draft of Rs 2,000 drawn in favour of 'ACEE' payable at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. It is to be sent to 'The Secretary (ACEE), SDCH, Veerbhadra Road, Rishikesh - 249203, Uttarakhand'.
