Information is provided for the first year entrance exam for undergraduate program for MBBS & BDS. It is an all-India examination and will be held at nine cities across the country.

Candidates desirable of admission to SSSAHE MBBS & BDS Courses 2015 have to appear for entrance tests at the following centers: Tumkur and Bangalore.
The University tries to allot the centre as per the order of preference. However, the final decision of allotment lies with the University.
City and address for the center of examination will be given on the Hall Ticket. .
Candidates must bear all costs such as transportation, etc., to appear for the examination.
Timings of the exam are mentioned on the Admission Ticket and it is the responsibility of the candidate to reach the center on allotted date and time.

The table below gives a summary of the course information for the SSAHE Medical Exam to be held in June 2015.
For MBBS
Candidates need to appear for the SSAHE Medical Entrance Exam 2015 to qualify.
Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Candidates should be of 17 years of age or attain this age as on 31st December 2015.
The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner mentioned below
All candidates should have passed in all subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) or passed in the second year Pre-University or 12th Standard or equivalent examination in one and the same attempt in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as one of the language.
Candidates belonging to the general category must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Botany and Zoology) and English as one of the language and must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) taken together H.Sc.
Candidates belonging reserved category must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) and English as one of the language and must have obtained a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) taken together H.Sc.
Candidates who will appear or have appeared in the qualifying examination in March/April 2015 and whose results have not yet been declared can also apply for admission, if other eligibility criteria are satisfied.
Once an application has been registered, candidates will have to appear for Medical Entrance Exam 2015. All admissions are based on Inter Se Merit i.e. SSAHE AIUGET 2015.
Based on the result of SAHE-AIUGET 2015, candidates who score equal to or more than the below mentioned percentages are eligible for counseling.

Eligibility for Foreign Students
Foreign and Non-resident Indians who have passed 10+2 qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and who have obtained an aggregate of 50% and more with English as a compulsory subject and whose qualification examination/Board/Universities as approved by the ‘Association of Indian Universities’, are required to apply for Eligibility Certificate.
Foreign Students also need to get clearance and permission from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, before taking admission.
The SSAHE admits 150 and 40 students for the undergraduate MBBS and BDS degree, respectively. Following is the distribution of seats.

Procedure for Application Submission
Online Application
For online application forms, candidates can download the form from the SSAHE website. You can submit the application form online, but it is compulsory to submit the filled application form along with the requisite documents to the Office of the Registrar, Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education.

Filling out Application Form
Read the prospectus and the instruction for filling out application form carefully.
The candidate should acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling up the application on-line as well as submission of application.
Upload photograph and signature and other documents as stated.
Incomplete application, application with false details would be rejected.
Not the application number of your form and quote it when communicating in all further correspondence with the Registrar’s Office
Admission Tickets
Admission Tickets for the Entrance Examination will be made available on SSAHE Tumkur website 15 days before the examination.
Your medical entrance exam date 2015 along with the examination city allotted, reference number and other details will be mentioned on your admission ticket.
If a candidate is unable to download their admission ticket they should notify the registrar immediately.
No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination unless he/she holds the Admission Ticket from the website of SSAHE.
Syllabus
The question papers for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be based on Department of University Education (PUC) I & II syllabi or equivalent.

Exam Pattern
The SSAHE MBBS Entrance Exam 2015 will be a.
The Physics & Chemistry Test will be for 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes.
The Biology test will be for one hour i.e. 60 minute
The exam is conducted in English.
It shall carry multiple choice questions with four options.
Each question shall carry one mark.
There is NO Negative marking.

The Read each question carefully before choosing the correct answer.
Darken the circle corresponding to correct answer.
Remember not to leave any mark on the answer sheet such as scratching or tick marking as it will result in no mark.
Leave answer blank if not sure of an answer as there is no negative marking.
Carry extra pencils and sharpeners. Remember result in no marks.

Attempting Sample Papers for Practice
You will get only 120 minutes to solve a total of 100 questions for Physics and Chemistry and 60 minutes to solve 50 questions for Biology. It is very important that you practice all of them again and again. You need to be fast and correct. Practice will affect our percentage.
Attempt all previous year papers in allotted time. Solving papers will build up speed and accuracy.
Check your answers after you finish an exam. Don’t be lenient in your marking. You need to score a minimum of 50% or 40% to get selected as per your category.
While attempting the paper try and see which topics are most important.
Understand the type and level of questions that are repeated over the years and focus on becoming expert in them. Check out analysis section to know the level of difficulty that you will be facing.

The list of candidates provisionally selected will be put up on notice boards in the SSAHE, Tumkur, campuses. Candidates can also access their results from the website.
Candidates who score equal to or more than 50% of marks in SAHE-AIUGET 2015 MBBS & BDS Entrance Exam will be eligible for counseling. SC/ST/OBC category students need to score 40% to be eligible for counseling. Please note, being shortlisted for counseling does not guarantee you a seat at the college. The dates for counseling are yet to be announced and candidates must check the SAHE website regularly for any update.
