RPMT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Academic Eligibility

For MBBS and BDS course: Candidates willing to appear the RPMT 2018 must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination/ICSE/CBSE 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology along with English as a compulsory subject. In case the Course content covered by the candidate appearing the RPMT 2018 is exactly not as the prescribed 10+2 course structure by the National Committee, then the candidate has to undergo the Pre-Professional training for a period of one year before admissions into the Medical Colleges. These Pre-Professional training can be conducted at any of the medical colleges or even science colleges.

Age Eligibility

Candidates willing to appear RPMT 2018 must be of minimum 17 years on or before 31st of December 2018.
 

Entrance Examination Eligibility

  • The candidates taking admissions on the basis of the competitive entrance examinations merit, must have cleared the subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology / Biotechnology along with English as a compulsory subject and has to have obtained a minimum of 50% in the subjects Chemistry, Physics & Biology / Biotechnology all together. In addition to that, the candidate must have been in the merit list.

  • For candidates belonging to the categories such as SC/ST/OBC and SBC the marks obtained in Chemistry, Physics and Biology / Biotechnology taken altogether in qualifying examination has to have a minimum of 50%.

  • The candidate has to be an Indian national and has completed the last 3 years of his educational career at a recognized institution in Rajasthan.

  • The candidate’s any one of the parents (mother/father) must have been living in the state of Rajasthan for last 10 years, and the candidate has been studying in the state for 5 years during this period.

  • Students who are bonafide residents of Rajasthan but studying at other states are also eligible to appear RPMT 2018.

  • The candidate is also eligible to appear the RPMT 2018 if he/she is a son/daughter of serving or retired Officer of All Indian Services borne on State Cadres of Rajasthan for more than 3 years with State Government or is a son/daughter of an employee of Government of Rajasthan.

  • The candidate is also eligible to appear the RPMT 2018 if he/she is son/daughter of serving or retired, permanent employee of Corporation/ Govt. Undertaking/ Co-operative bodies/Improvement Trust/ Council/ Municipal Bodies/ Panchayat Samiti (constituted by the Government of Rajasthan by act of law) for a minimum of 3 years.

  • The candidate willing to appear the RPMT 2018 is eligible if he/she is son/daughter of retired/serving/permanent employee of Secondary Board of Education (Rajasthan) or any University of Rajasthan, with terms that the employee has served his services in the state of Rajasthan for a minimum of 3 years.

  • The candidate willing to appear the RPMT 2018 is eligible if he/she is son/daughter of retired/serving/ permanent employee of Indian Defense and the employee is of Rajasthan origin irrespective of his place of posting or even employee of Indian Defense and the employee is posted in Rajasthan at the time of last date of the application for admission.

RPMT 2018 Application Form

Candidates willing to take admissions into the UG Medical courses from Rajasthan Medical and Dental Colleges need to fill Rajasthan Pre Medical Test Application Form 2018. The application for RPMT can filled online only.

Information Related to RPMT 2018 Application Form

  • The applicants are advised to read the instructions carefully and fill the form with necessary details.

  • The candidates are also advised to note down their RPMT 2018 application ID and password for any of the future references with respect to the Rajasthan University of Health Science.

  • The candidates are required to submit the print copy of the application form duly filled at the time of counseling and reporting to the colleges allotted.

  • The candidates failing to produce the filled RPMT 2018 application Form during the counseling and reporting at the allotted colleges the candidature will be declared as cancelled.

Fees for the RPMT 2018 Application Form

The cost of the online application form for RPMT is Rs. 1500 for unreserved category and for SC, ST and PH category it is Rs. 750. The payment of the application form needs to be done online by using the bank challan at any branch of OBC (Oriental Bank of Commerce). The fees once paid for the RPMT 2015 application form are neither refundable nor adjustable.
 

Documents to be submitted with the Application Form

The candidates are required to take the print outs of the RPMT 2018 online application form and present them with the following documents at the time of reporting to the allotted colleges.

  • Bank Challan of the OBC as per the categorized amount (for unreserved category the amount is Rs. 1500 and for SC, ST and PH category it is Rs. 750)

  • Four Passport Size photographs attested by a Gazetted Officer

  • Birth certificate/Class 10th certificate/or any other certificate showing DOB

  • Class 10th Board Mark sheet

  • Certificate of Caste for the SC/ST/Ph/OBC and other categories

  • The original Mark sheet with photocopies of 10+2 or equivalent exam

  • Photocopy and original Photo Identity proof (Driving License/PAN Card/Election Voter ID/Adhaar Card/Class 12th Board Admit Card)

RPMT Admit Cards

The admit cards/hall tickets shall be made available on the official website from the of May 2018 (Tentative) onwards. Candidates are required to download the Admit cards and produce it during the exam schedule at the exam centre.

RPMT Exam Pattern

As per the exam pattern set for the RPMT 2018, the exam paper shall be comprised of 200 objective type multiple choice questions of each subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each subject has 50 questions and 4 marks shall be allotted for every correct answer. No negative marking shall be done for wrong answers. A total of 180 minutes shall be given to the candidates appearing the entrance test.

Tips & Tricks for RPMT 2018 Preparation

  • Stay Confident and Be Positive: The first step towards success is always the confidence of achieving it. The enthusiasm and the spirit of completing the preparation always work positively. By filling your minds with positive thought and motivate yourself at every point of time. The self motivation is always the best motivation!

  • Keep Calm and Prepare: Any examination is not only an examination to verify your knowledge on a particular subject but it is an examination to check your levels of patience and your workability under pressure. Always try and keep your brain calm. If you can conquer your brains and perform the best of yours in any exam the success is a must for you.

  • Manage your time: The proper plan always leads to success, plan your time in a way that most of your time is consumed in productive work. Make a list of all your concerned areas where you find difficulty in working and make them your priority. The students need to have a habit of writing as well. It increases your speed and keeps your mind in motion which can be very helpful at the time of exams and you can also manage your time while writing your exam if your writing speed is excellent.

  • Strategize your study plan: Keep your weakness aside and have a focus on your strengths, make them much stronger. Also keep working on the weakness and push your best to turn them as your strength. It needs strategies, hard work and better guidance.
     

RPMT Result 2018

The provisional results for RPMT 2018 have been declared on 3rd Week of June 2018 (Tentative). Candidates can download the result from the official website of RPMT. The qualifying marks for RPMT is 50% to be scored in the subjects Physics, Botany, Chemistry and Zoology altogether. For SC/ST/OBC the percentage for qualifying the RPMT is 40%.
 

Rajasthan Medical Counselling

The counseling procedure for RPMT 2018 shall commence from 2th Week of July  to 1th week of August 2018 (Tentative).The candidates scoring the marks required for admissions are required to fill choices of Medical colleges on  June 2018. The RPMT 2018 counseling shall be done on the basis of the online preference forms filled by the candidates June 2018.

Procedure for Counseling

  • The candidates are required to fill the online counseling form for RPMT 2018 with the application form number and password followed by filling up the details of the candidates which will be automatically verified by the system.

  • Candidates are required to update their 10 + 2 result, if not done earlier. They are also required to mention the supplementary/passed status of theirs.

  • The candidates shall be given the sheet online which needed to filled with the scores secured in various subjects as appearing in the 10+2 or an equivalent examination score card;

  • The candidates are also required to mention the name of the board from which they have cleared the exam and the number of attempts made in clearing the 10+2 or an equivalent examination

  • After filling the needed information, the candidates are required to save the form.

  • After saving the information form, the candidates shall be allotted the Choice filling form which is to be filled with utmost care as this will be the final form for all rounds of the online allotments.

  • Based on the eligibility of the candidate the server will display the courses to be selected and the candidates are then required to choose the courses of their preferences. They can also opt for one or more courses but no choice of the course shall be treated as rejection of the application.

  • After completing all these criteria the candidates are then required to log out of the window and they will be asked to save the contents filled and then there will be a declaration form appearing where by the candidates are required to click on ‘I Agree’.

  • The candidates shall take the print out of the choices made and after getting the allotment letter the print out must be taken.
