The GUJCET exam 2018 has 194 exam centers all over the country. Candidates are advised to visit the Board website to get the exam center codes and pick on three choices.Exam centers are chosen by candidates at the time of filling out applications.
City and address for the center of examination will be given on the Hall Ticket.
No request for change of center will be considered under any circumstances.
Candidates must bear all costs such as transportation, etc, to appear for the examination.
Timings of the exam are mentioned on the Admit Card and it is the responsibility of the candidate to reach the center to enter the examination hall half-an-hour before the scheduled commencement of exam.

Candidate seeking admission to GUJCET should be an Indian citizen.
She/he must have attained 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2018.
The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner mentioned below
The Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate Examination/Gujarat Board/Central Board of Education Examination or an equivalent examination thereto comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
The applicant must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at the qualifying examination
Applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination
Applicants who have appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying examination in March / April 2018 and whose results have not yet been declared can also apply for admission and appear in the pre medical test, if other eligibility criteria are satisfied.
The GUJCET medical and dental undergraduate course seats are divided into
Government Seats: All the Government Seats shall be filled in on the basis of merit list prepared by the Admission Committee.
Management Seats: All the management seats shall be filled on the basis of inter-se merit list of the candidates and whose names appear in the merit list prepared by the Admission Committee.
Fifteen percent (15%) of available seats for admissions in each Government Medical and Dental
College recognized by the Medical Council of India and the Dental Council of India respectively are reserved for candidates of All India Quota who are alloted for admission by the Director General of Health Services, Government of India, New Delhi.
The remaining Government seats are reserved for the candidate who are origin of Gujarat and falling under the following categories,
Scheduled Castes : 7 %
Scheduled Tribes : 15 %
Socially and Educationally Backward Classes including Widows & Orphan of any caste : 27%
Entrance Examination Eligibility
Admissions shall be made on the basis of inter-se merit of the candidates qualified at all India entrance exams.
Candidates belonging to the open category must secure not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the GUJCET 2018 examination.
Candidates belonging to backward classes must secure not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the examination conducted for GUJCET 2018.
The total marks obtained in the theory of the Physics, Biology and Chemistry subjects in the qualifying examination shall be converted to 100 marks and the sixty percent of such converted marks is the total marks obtained.
The total marks obtained in the Physics, Biology and Chemistry subjects in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) shall be converted to 100 marks and the forty percent of such converted marks shall construe the remaining 40% marks for GUJCET.
Candidate seeking admission should be non-resident Indian or should be have parent/guardian who are non-resident Indians.
She/he must have attained 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2018.
The Candidate shall be required to produce equivalence certificate, from the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar or Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, of his passing the qualifying examination of the country to which such examination relates.

Application for GUJCET may be submitted personally or mailed (by registered post/speed post/courier) to the above mentioned address.
The application must be submitted with a enclosed DD drawn in the favor of “The Secretary Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell” payable at Ahemdabad
Incomplete application, application with false details or application form not accompanied by a demand draft would be rejected.
General Instruction for Filling out Application Form
Read the prospectus and the instruction carefully.
The candidate should acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling up the application on-line as well as submission of GUJCET application form.
The GUJCET admit card will indicate the seat number, the examination centre (with its address) allotted to the candidate.
The candidate shall not mutilate the admit card or change any entry made therein after it has been authenticated.
Note that issue of Admit Card for GUJCET is just a provision for appearing for the entrance examination and does not imply that the candidate is eligible for admission in MBBS or BDS.
Syllabus
The syllabus for the combined entrance test for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology will be based on syllabus followed by 10+2 Boards/Universities. You can get details of the syllabus here.
The Medical Council of India (MCI) recommended the syllabus for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (NEET (AIPMT)), 2018 to MBBS/BDS courses across the country (NEET (AIPMT)) after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by CBSE, NCERT and COBSE. This is to establish uniformity across the country keeping in view the relevance of different areas in Medical Education.
The GUJCET 2018 exam pattern will be for three hours i.e. 180 minutes. It will be conducted in English and shall carry 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Appearing for the GUJCET 2018 Exam
It is mandatory for the candidate appearing for entrance exam for medical to report 30 minutes before the start of the exam at the center mentioned on the admit card.
Read and follow instructions carefully.
Read each question carefully before choosing the correct answer.
Select the answer only if you are sure of the answer and darken circle accordingly in your OMR booklet.
Duplicate answers are not counted so darken circle only when sure of an answer. Candidates are not allowed to use whiteners or any other correction fluid. .

GUJCET 2018 MBBS and BDS all India combined entrance result will be based on merit. Results will be published in State and National newspapers. Merit list of candidates will be displayed on the notice board of colleges and the Common Entrance Test Cell Notice Board. Candidates can apply for a duplicate of their OMR sheets.
Once the results have been declared, students need to keep in touch to know about MBBS counseling date 2018. The dates will be widely published in newspapers and candidates are advised to contact the authorities for details. No individual contact with candidates will be made by the GUJCET counseling dates by the Admission Committee.
Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility requirements as stated in the prospectus before reporting for MBBS counseling.
Physical presence of the candidate is mandatory on the MBBS counseling date 2018. If a candidate is prevented by unavoidable circumstances from being physically present for the counseling he/she may authorize another individual to represent him/her at the counseling. This representative must carry the letter of authorization
Candidates will be required to attend MBBS Counseling and Medical Examination at the Institute at their own cost on the notified date.
Absence of the candidate or his/her representative at the indicated reporting time and date will result in the instantaneous forfeiture of any claim for a seat.
The appearance at GUJCET 2018 and inclusion of name in the merit list do not necessarily mean that candidate shall get admission to the course. Admission to the course shall depend upon the availability of seat at the time of turn for BDS & MBBS admission.
At the time of counseling, candidates have to produce all documents as stipulated and other terms and conditions as stated in all Indian PMT forms.
Admissions made at the MBBS admission sessions 2018 are provisional, subject to verification of eligibility.
