Physical Chemistry is the branch of chemistry which is quite like mathematics and physics in developing underlying principles of chemistry. It observes and explains the physical and chemical properties of matter.


Physical Chemistry applies the methods of thermodynamics, Biophysics. Physical Chemistry independently and as a profession have important positions to play in Studying Cause and Effect, Risk Association Studies, Studies of Drug Utilization, Evaluating and Improving Physician Prescription, Assessment of Patient Compliance, Studies of Medication Errors, etc. Physical Chemistry is an effective tool to capture useful data for clinicians, researchers and policy makers.
