The Diversity of Organic  Compounds cannot be explained simply as it is unlimited.
It is due to the property of Carbon atoms of making long and bracnhed chains called Catenation.
It is unlimited and incredible.
Every compound that is organic consits carbon.

Diversity of organic compounds * Carbon has catenation ( self linking property) * Non ionic character (covalent bonding) * Isomerism (same molecular but different structural formula) Above is short summary of diversity of organic compounds. Magnitude Almost 85% of all chemical compounds are organic in nature More then 10 million compounds are organic By : Ali Muhammad Mansoor Ali
