Dear student
 
it is not taken as common but it is shown by definition that two lines are are linear combination of others.
 
L3 = m L1 + n L2 
 
where m and n are constants.
 
the above equations simply means that L3 pass through the intersection points of L2 and L1, hence all the three lines are concurrent.
