do you pefer arihant physics texts books for iit jee?. are problems in arihant equivalent to iit or not?. all faculty prefer h c verma for physics,why?.in maths is tata mcgraw hill better or arihant?.

Hello Nikhil,

Arihant text books are good for IIT JEE. Their problems/questions are better. For understanding the theory and concepts and their application H.C. Verma is much better. So you should actually refer both the books together.

For Maths Tata Mc Graw Hills (TMH) is very good. Arihant is ok too. R.D. Sharma is ok too. So the Order of preference is

TMH > R.D. Sharma > Arihant
