Hello Nikhil,

Arihant text books are good for IIT JEE. Their problems/questions are better. For understanding the theory and concepts and their application H.C. Verma is much better. So you should actually refer both the books together.

For Maths Tata Mc Graw Hills (TMH) is very good. Arihant is ok too. R.D. Sharma is ok too. So the Order of preference is

TMH > R.D. Sharma > Arihant

Please feel free to post as many doubts on our disucssion forum as you can. If you find any question difficult to understand - post it here and we will get you the answer and detailed solution very quickly. We are all IITians and here to help you in your IIT JEE preparation. All the best Nikhil.
