As per your marks it bit tough to get mech in NIT

It may be possible in your home state however if you look to go to another NIT it would be highly difficult.

Well there may be a chance but be sure that you consistently check the latest details of counselling and allottment...but be little more active ...i mean try to check the admission details at some other educational institutions as well...i suggest to consider these – BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, Hyderabad..................LPU, Phagwara, Punjab,..............College of Engg Trivandrum,.............Manipal Inst of Tech, Manipal
