Dear student

These two quantities can never be equal as one is scalar and another is vector

However comparing magnitude

ab cos (theta) = ab ( sin. Theta)

Tan ( theta ) = 1

Theta = 45

a.b= abcostheta and a*b= absintheta so abcostheta/absintheta =1 means ab cancel tantheta =1 so theta =45
