An ideal black body absorbs all the radiation falling on it. So, why is candela measured as the luminous intensity of a blackbody?

A perfect dark body ingests all the radiation falling on it. Candela is the unit to gauge the splendor of the question i.e. its power. That is the reason candela is measured as the radiant power of a blackbody.
