Transverse magnification = mT = -v/u
 
1/v + 1/u = 1/f
 
v = – 30 cm
 
now mt = – v/u = – 2
 
mL = – mt^2 = – 4
 
- dv/du = -4
 
dv = 8mm
 
hence ampkitude of image oscillation is 8 mm
