Greenhouse gases cause greenhouse effect by trapping the infrared radiation trying to escape back to space. This process increases the earth’s temperature. Gases which contributes in greenhouse effect are carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, water vapour, Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and, Hydrofluorocarbons (HCFCs and HFCs). Hydrogen is not a greenhouse gas.Hence, the correct answer is ‘Hydrogen’.
