Dear Ganesh

first find out the vector from P to Q

vector PQ = ( – 1, 1, 1) – (1, – 1, 2) =  – 2i + 2j  – k

hence unit vector = – 2i + 2j  – k / (sqrt(4 + 4 + 1)) = (– 2i + 2j  – k )/ 3

Hello Ganesh,

Given points are:
Initial Point: P(1, -1, 2)
Final Point: Q(-1, 1, 1)

Hence, unit vector in the direction P->Q is
(-1-1) i + [1-(-1)] j + [1-2]k
= -2i + 2j – k

Thanks!
