then period of f( ax+d)= t/a

thus period of cos x = 2pi

then period of cos(3x+5) is 2pi/3

The period of the given function is the period of cos(3x+5) itself, as 7 is a constant and doesnt influence the period,....and the period of cos(ax+b) is 2pie/a,...so the answer is 2pie/3 :)
