WHAT IS AM>GM FORMULA ? HOW IS IT USED ?

if a₁, a₂, a₃,......, a_n are n distinct positive real numbers then

Arithmetic Mean (AM) = (a₁+a₂+.....+a_n)/n

Geometric Mean (GM)= (a₁*a₂*.....*a_n)^1/n

from AM>GM inequality

AM>GM

(a₁+a₂+.....+a_n)/n > (a₁*a₂*.....*a_n)^1/n
