Hello guys, Here is a question for geek s na .. Generally in measuring temperature using different scales we use different thermometers . I have seen a formula for measuring the temperature as T = 100 (L-L i ) / (L s -L i ) 0 C in the specified example given below. Cosider two thermometers made of different materials and with different liquids inside. Let the readings of them differ in naming 1& 2. Then my doubt is is , If we considered L i , L s values with respect to thermometers .(as they are different) will the temperatures t 1 , t 2 are same .

Hello guys,

                 Here is a question for geek s na ..

         Generally in measuring temperature using different scales we use different thermometers .

       I have seen a formula for measuring the temperature as

                                             T = 100  (L-Li)   /   (Ls-Li)   0 C

        in the specified example given below.

                       Cosider two thermometers made of different materials and with different liquids inside.

  Let  the readings of them differ in naming 1& 2.

Then my doubt is is ,

                      If we considered  Li , Ls values with respect to thermometers .(as they are different)

          will the temperatures  t1 ,  t2 are same .
