Dear Menka,

Back bonding is special type of bond which is formed b/w sp 2 hybridised central atom which must have empty p orbital . Due to presence of this empty p orbital it pulls he electron from another p orbital which is near by it . This of bond formation is known as back-bonding.It is also known as p pie- p pie bond b'coz of the overlapping of p-p orbitals.
