how can i calculate n-factor to calculate equivalent weight?
n-factor is differently calculated for different compounds.
For acids, basicity(No.of replaceable H+ ions) is the n-factor while for bases, it is the acidity(Replaceable OH- ions)
For salts, the charge on cation or anion is taken as the n-factor.
