From my actual experience read NCERT books thoroughly.Every step every word every paraagraph is important.Books U can take then as:Organic chemitsry by Morrison and Boyd or by Shishir Mittal and try Pradeep for board exams .and inorganic by J.D Lee.
@ aryan if u are considering both mains and adv , then they both are separate . beacuse jee mains testing how much facts u can remember , but jee adv are totally conceptual and they are testing how deeply u understood the concept . for chemistry , generally ncert are considerd to be sufficient for mains as in mains the ques are too direct and from ncert only . but for advanced they required special approach . 1- organic chemi by morrision and boyd 2- physical chemi pbjective by grb publication 3- inorganic chemi by mtg publication . donot require to follow more books , they will confuse and mess up the concept . ALL THE BEST ..
