The answer depends on which point of the rope is taken into calculation. If we want to find tension in the rope at its midpoint, we can consider half of the rope as part of one block and the other half as part of the other block. So now the question can be equivalent to pulling a 7 kg and a 5 kg block connected by a string. Drawing FBD and writing force equations, we get T = 25 N.
