Two blocks a and b of mass 10 kg and 20 kg respectively are placed as shown in figure. Coefficient of friction between all the surfaces is 0.2 (g=10m/s2), then : A. Tension in the string is 306 N B. Tension in the string is 132 N C. Acceleration of the block B is 2.6 m/s2 D. Acceleration of the block B is 4.7 m/s2

Since block M1 is attached to the string so it will remain stationary M2 has tendency to move downwards.so friction on m2 will act in upward direction.
N is the force by which the both block are pressed such that  N=Tcos30
For block m1
M1g+mu(Tcos30)-Tsin30=M1
For block m2
M2g-(muN+muN)=m2a
On solving t is equal to 250 Newton and a is equal to 3 M per second square
