Dear student

Distance ofA after 10 sec = 400 m

Distance of B after 20 sec = 400 m

speed of A after 20 sec and 21 sec = 40 m/s , 40 m/s

speed of B after 20 sec and 21 sec = 40 m/s, 42 m/s

Distance of A after 21 sec = 440 m

Distance of B after 21 sec = 442 m

Therefore A just managed to touch B but was never ahead

hence optionD
