One rod is along xx’, so moment of inertia for this rod is (MR^2)/2. Another rod is along y axis so its moment of inertia will be (ML^2)/3. Add the two quantities, you will get the answer.

The moment of inertia about an axis depends only on the distances of the masses from the axis. You could slide all the masses along the axisYou just need to keep each part the same distance from the axis. So you could just treat it as a straight rod with the same total mass, but a length of L sin alpha with the rod perpendicular to the axis. So just use the standard equation for a rod perpendicular to the axis but with the length reduced to L sin alpha.
