CONSTRAINT MOTION happens Due to inextensible constant lrength strings and due to normal reactions.
Due to inextensible constant length strings: As the length of the string is constant, so velocity, components of its ends along the string are equal.
Due to normal reactions:The bodies in contact do not have any relative motion in the normal direction. Relative motion can occur only in perpendicular to normal direction.
There are lots of example like pulley hanging with the string, masses hanging the string with the support of pulley ladder example, spring example, inclined [plane example

Wedge Constraint : If two surfaces moves in such a manner so that they are always in contact with each other then the acceleration of one with respect to another parallel to the two surfaces which are in contact.

The relative (velocities, displacements, acceleration) perpendicular to the contact is (0) "zero"- That implies that the velocity of the body(1) moving in other body(2) should be equal to the velocity of body(2)
