							Dear student,Let the contant velocities be$\vec{v_A}$and$\vec{v_B}$. Hence relative to A, the velocity of B is$\vec{v_B}-\vec{v_A}$which is non-zero. Hence as seen from A, the distance between them woudl increase with constant rate of$\vec{v_B}-\vec{v_A}$.Hence the assertion is wrong.
