Answer is 2×3^0.5.. dx/dt = $^{\sqrt{3}}$ ...and dy/dx = $\tan \Theta$ = $^{\sqrt{3}}$ .. so dy/dt= (dy/dx)×(dx/dt) =3..so velocity of B is $^{\sqrt{3}}$ in x-direction and -3 in y- direction. So resultant is $^{\sqrt{12}}$ ..
