Hi,

Due to the rotation and orbiting, Earth of course accelerates and so must be a non-inertial frame of reference.

well earth is surely a non inertial frame of ref....but while solving problems....we gen take earth as an inertial frame....coz acc. of earth doesn't affect our laws of motion to a considerable extent if everything is being done by takin earth as base..
