q1. a rod of length L is pivoted at one end. regular angular velocity.in horizontal plane. let T1 and t2 be tension at points L/4 and at 3L/4 away from pivoted end. which will be greater.

A simple way to understand this is to considerthe motion of the rod which lies between l/4 and 3l/4.That mass is moving in a circular trajectory hence there must be a force towards center of the circle acting on it. The only 2 forces acting on it areT1 towards center and t2 away from center. As net force must be towards center t1>t2.
