Dear Sanchit

dy/dx = (y+1) / (x -1)

dy /(y+1) =dx /(x-1)

ln(y+1) =ln(x-1) + ln c

y+1 =c(x-1)

Given function is not define at x=1

so no solution exits

           dy/dx = (y+1)/(x-1)

          dy/(y+1) = dx/(x-1)

       Taking Integral on both sides,

       ln(y+1) = ln(x-1)+lnC

       Y(1)=2,

Clearly at x=1 it does not exist

       therefore, no solutions exists.
