Why is the size of aluminum more than gallium and if it is due to screening effect why doesn`t it apply to other elements of the group? Also why is the ionization energy of calcium nd gallium same?

Screening effect works on elements which has inner filled d and f electrons, as they have poor shielding effect. Ga because of inner d electrons show some similarity with it.
