Hello christopher,
option c is correct .the compounds with lower oxidation number and those which cannot be reduced by one another can exist together. thus,FeCl2 and SnCl2 can exist together as Fe2+ cannot be reduced by Sn2+

sorry i send wrong answer this is the answer option a is correct. the  crystal field theory can explain the spectra,i.e colour,magnetic property and structure of coordination compounds. however,the position of intensities of spectra bands (or covalent character of covalent bonds) cannot be explained on the bassis of this theory
