The first one, the speed m/s of the child is 6.5. The slope is 4.5 degrees from the x axis, so you take the sine of 4.5 (make sure your calculator is in degrees) and multiply that by 6.5. Now multiply by one second. 

The second one, there's a formula for potential energy. I'm assuming it's saying the loss of potential energy per second, so just take t=0 and t=1. Rate of change should be constant
