A projectile is observed moving with velocity 50 m/s at an angle 37 degree above the horizontal after one second from its projection. The projectile is projected from the ground and lands on the ground. [g=10m/s 2 ] Its horizontal range is closest to:- (1) 80 m (2) 160 m (3) 240 m (d) 320 m

Dear student

Initial velocity be u and angle be theta

U cos theta = 50 cos ( 37) = 40 m/s

50 sin (37) = u sin ( theta) - 10

Usin(theta) = 40

Theta. Is 45
U is 40(sqrt(2))

R = u*u sin( 2 theta) / g

R= 40*40*2/10

R= 320 m
