The maximum and minimum distances of a comet from the sun are 8 x 10 m and 1.6 x 10`m respectively. If its velocity when it is nearest to the sun is 60 m/sec then what will be its velocity in m/s when it is farthest?

Hy nikhila... You can do this question by using the fact that the angular velocity of an object performing circular motion is always constant... SO by using V1/r1 we get omega which is equal to V2/r2.. Using simple maths you can get your answer... Hope U like it
