Using the formula where A and B are 2 forces are R is their resultant, then
R2 = (A2+B2+2ABcosθ )
here θ = 90
Then
R= √(A2+B2)
R=√625 = 25N
To find the direction, we use
The direction will be tan-124/25 from the 24N force.

Answer- The resultant is 25N tan-124/25 from the 24N force
