If we solve question with neglect gravity
It’s horizontal component of velocity will not change 
And we hnow in any normal projectile Range is R = v02 sin 2θ0/a here a is the acceleration in perpenidular direction here Eq/m as a=f/m  so replacing here R=u^{2}sin2\Theta /Eq/m
