Find the square of a no. with its last digits 5?

1. Choose a no. with last digits 5 say 1225.

2.multiply the no. excluding 5(i.e. 122 in this case)by no.+1 (i.e. 123 here) so 122x123=15006.

3.write multiplied answer and write 25 nxt to it (1500625).

Dear student,
You are correct. Let me discuss another one.
a) Let the number be 175.
b) Now if we exclude 5, we get: 17. So we need to multiply this with 18. Hence, we get: 17\times18=306.
c) Thus the required square is equal to: 30625.
