As you are told that instructions were not clear then let me remind you dear , that the same paper has been distributes across the country, so if problem arised then definately this problem would have been for rest of the candidates also .

This means that if IIT has done any mistake then that would be common for all, you need not to worry for that , they will amend their mistakes.
