You have not mentioned the year in which you have passed class 12. If you have passed in 2012 then you are eligible to apply. Because the eligibility criteria includes 60% marks (gen) & 50% marks (sc/st) in board. And you can give IIT only for 2 years, in the year of passing qualifying exam & the following year. You cannot give the IIT JEE exam if you once take admission in any of the IITs.
