Dear Menon,
Total seats through IITs is 6875 and through Eml is 2000 making a total of 8875.
As you wont be getting anything through IITs you are eligilble for EML counselling. Last year cutoff for IIST was 7770 as your rank is quite above it you will definately be geeting your seat alloted to you there.
