Dear Noaman,
JEE is not tough but the difference which comes in the way of getting into IIT, is the competition among the lakhs of serious candidates who prepare for this exam from 10th or 12th onwards. 90 percent of the total registered candidates for jee are well prepared for the exam and many students are toppers of their respective schools. Even if the paper is easy , its same for everyone and will led to higher cutoff's. You have to make sure that u attempt every question seriously without hurry and must try to score less negative marks. Around 600 ranks are awarded for a difference of 5 marks ( the way it happened when i appeared for jee ), which means a single question can make a big difference in rank and selection . I would give a rating of 90/100 because there are some single choice questions which are quite easy to attempt compared to multiple choice question.
