The best branch at IITK is Comp. Sc. on the basis of previous records of their placement and the best branch at IITD is Mechanical Engineering, its best all over India. The proffessors here in this department are quite Intellectual and maximum of them have done their degree from good colleges around the globe. There is always a lot of option for you to do here in mechanical. There are around 10 - 12 clubs in this department Robocon. Formula 1 and others. It serves as agood option to carry these things and get exposed throughout India and the world.

I personally feel that it is the best option to pursue.
