Find the equation of straight line passing through the point of intersection of line x+y+1=0 and 2x-y+5=0 and containing the points (5,-2). By family of lines method.

The equation  of the family of line can be written as x+y+1+K(2x-y+5). On putting x=5 and y=-2 you will get the value of K. Put the value of K and you will get the the equation of the straight line i.e.3x+7y-1=0
