As the diode in Reverse bias has infinite resistance no current will be conducting from it so the resistance connected to diode will be neglected or we can say not be considered.So current will be voltage divided by net resistance that is 500 +100 net equal to 600Current will be 6 / 600 that is equal to 0.01 ampere and as we know current in series is same so. 01 current will flow in 100 ohm resistance.

It z 50 not 500 
And u didn't consider resistance of diode vch is 50ohm   so net is 200 ohm.

I am sorry take it 50 ohm then net balance will be 50 + 100 that is 150 Now current will be 6 / 150 which will be equal to .04.

Ans is .03 A
Frwd resistance of diode is 50 
So net 50+50+100.

OK then NET resistance will be 200 and current will be 6 upon 200 equal to . 03A.
