Two cells 6V, 1ohm, and 4V,2ohm are connected form a closed loop. The current, which cannot flow through the loop is............5/3A.
pls explain.....
If their positive terminals are in the same direction as of flow of current then the effective emf is 10 volts and effective resistance is 3ohm hence the current is 10/3 ampere
if the positive terminals are in the opposite directions the effective emf is 2 volts and effective resistance remains 3 ohm
hence the current is 2/3 ohm
so 5/3 cannot be the current through the loop
