A true solution is a homogeneous mixture of solute and solvent.Solution= Solute + Solvent.
Solvent is the substance which allows other substances to dissolve in it.In a solution,Solvent is present in the greater amount .Example : Water is a universal solvent.
Solute is the substance which get get dissolved in solvent.Solute is present in the smaller amount of solution.
For example : Sugar get dissolved in the solvent.
